Hotel Paris

Hotel Paris

Prague, Czechia (Czech Republic)

Hotel Paris is housed within a beautiful neo-Gothic building with Art Nouveau touches dating to 1904, which is now declared a historical monument. Its position in the heart of Prague’s old town means you’re within easy strolling distance of the city’s attractions.

Inside, marble floors, ceramic mosaics, decorative cast-iron and brass railings and a wide, sweeping staircase take you back to the building’s grand heyday, while mirrors place emphasis on the natural light that filters through.

An independent, family-owned property, the hotel boasts a personable feel. You can grab breakfast and a coffee in its own in-house patisserie, Café de Paris, whose large windows and French styling are reminiscent of a real Parisian café. For dinner, there’s the option to dine at the Sarah Bernhardt restaurant, which serves traditional Czech and French cuisine accompanied by wines from the property’s own cellar.

The 86 rooms and suites each have their own elegant style and are furnished with replicas of the building’s original Art Nouveau furniture. All come with a good range of modern amenities.

OUR OPINION:

In addition to its old-world grandeur, we love the small touches at this family-run property that make for a personal experience, as well as the daily sweet treats you can enjoy from its patisserie.

The property’s 86 rooms and suites all come with the same amenities, including free Wi-Fi, air conditioning, underfloor heating and facilities for making tea and coffee. The Junior suites each have a separate living room with a sofa bed. The luxury Kilmt, Mucha and Tower suites each have a different design and offer more space.
