Named after the British officer, James Forsyth, who established the Forest Department in central India and wrote many accounts of the area's highlands in the 1860s, Forsyth Lodge is a small and stylish property set within 44 acres of wildlife filled jungle sitting on the edge of the Satpura National Park.

The 12 cottages are built using local materials and are designed to fit in with the local environment with as little impact as possible. The main building, built of rammed earth, contains the dining room on the ground floor while upstairs there is a lounge bar with a terrace overlooking the jungle. There is also a swimming pool. The focus of this lodge is primarily based around wildlife and the wilderness experience, but a huge interaction with the local villages and community are at the forefront of their ideology.
