Day 1 Delhi
Day 2 Delhi
Enjoy a full-day tour of the capital today, which will highlight the great contrasts between Old and New Delhi. This includes the enormous Jama Masjid from which you can walk through the bazaars and narrow streets - a great way to absorb the sights and sounds of Old Delhi. You will also see the monumental buildings set along wide boulevards of Lutyens` New Delhi including India Gate and the President`s residence.
Day 3 Varanasi
Fly from Delhi to Varanasi today and spend the afternoon exploring or relaxing. Later this afternoon, your local guide will take you to the ghats where you will take a boat onto the Ganges to witness the beautiful aarti ceremony.
Day 4 Varanasi
Enjoy another boat trip on the Ganges this morning to see the city in another light as locals bathe, wash and worship. You'll also see the famous cremation ghats. After some time to have brunch and relax, this afternoon you'll have a guided tour of the city. Visit major sites including the Vishwanath Temple (Golden Temple), Durga Temple, and Temple of Mother India.
Day 5 Agra
Fly to Agra today. You're met on arrival by driver and private guide to spend the afternoon exploring the city sites, including the impressive Red Fort and aptly named Baby Taj across the Yamuna River.
Day 6 Jaipur
Rise early this morning to visit the iconic Taj Mahal at sunrise (potentially later if there is fog, depending on the time of year). After breakfast, travel to Jaipur with your private driver via the fascinating abandoned 16th-century city of Fatehpur Sikri. On arrival in Jaipur, take the evening to explore your luxurious palace hotel and enjoy cocktails out on the terrace.
Day 7 Jaipur
You'll explore the Pink City with a local guide today - discover the Jantar Mantar Observatory, the Hawa Mahal 'Palace of the Winds' as well as the Royal Palace. You'll also travel 11km outside the city to explore the beautiful Amber Fort.
Day 8 Shahpura
Day 9 Udaipur
Travel to Udaipur today and enjoy a private guided tour of the city this afternoon. Visit the City Palace and explore the key sites with your local guide. might like to take a boat ride on Lake Pichola this afternoon - or simply relax in your hotel's extensive pool area.
Day 10 Udaipur
Explore on foot this morning to reach winding streets and parts of the city you can't access by car. See handicrafts being made and witness local life in this pretty lake-side city. This afternoon, visit the Monsoon Palace, the former second home of the King of Udaipur. Enjoy the unique architecture as you take in beautiful views.
Day 11 Delhi
Have a leisurely morning before taking a flight back to Delhi. You might like to make use of your hotel's luxurious spa. Either connect through with your international flight or spend the night at a comfortable hotel near the airport.
