This lovely boutique bed and breakfast has the feel of a colonial Mexican house, and with just eight rooms it is intimate and peaceful.
The property has been modernized with air conditioning and there is access to a small plunge pool. The five standard rooms are all downstairs, are well-furnished with dark woods and queen-size beds, but owing to the nature of the property are dark and the lighting in them fairly poor. There is one room that offers two single beds. There are also three suites that provide more light on the floor above — one offers a king-size bed and large inside living room area, the other offers a queen-size bed with the option for a third person in a separate room and a private terrace with sunbeds.
The hotel is situated right on the Malecon (seafront) at La Paz and so affords superb sunset views from its breakfast and evening areas though it can be noisy at night with passing traffic. It is about a 15-minute walk to the center of town. Please note reception closes at 11pm and the hotel only serves breakfast. There are a variety of good restaurants within a 15-20 minute walk away of the hotel.
