Located a short distance from Ahutupu landing strip, Akwadup Lodge has six comfortable but rustic cabins built on stilts over the Caribbean Sea. This simple lodge has been built on the shores of its own island for you to enjoy the ambience of this beautiful setting.
Each cabin has a terrace with a hammock and the hotel has seven solar panels to try to maintain electricity for 24 hours a day (this can be sporadic). They do also have a generator that runs between 6pm and 10pm although the lodge only uses cold water.
The Kuna employees are very friendly and helpful and meals are provided to an excellent standard (especially the seafood).

Where possible, we like to offer a range of accommodation for each stop of your trip, chosen by our specialists as some of their favorite places to stay. To help you make the right choice, we give each property a rating based on its facilities and service, but we also look for hotels with distinct character or a location that can’t be bettered.
