Ceylon Tea Trails, Summerville Bungalow

Ceylon Tea Trails is a collection of five carefully restored planter's bungalows, situated in different locations in a stunning area of Sri Lanka's hill country and owned by Dilmah Tea. Built between 1890 and 1939 each bungalow has its own style, but they all combine classical and contemporary styles.

Summerville's style is that of a country cottage, but with the luxurious touches, varied cuisine and professional service of a top end hotel. With only four rooms, Summerville is the smallest of the Tea Trails bungalows, and unlike Castlereagh and Norwood, it does not have a swimming pool. It does offer a summer house, sunbathing deck, garden dining and in room spa treatments, making it a wonderful place to relax on the shore of the Castlereagh Reservoir.
