Lake Powell Resort
Lake Powell Resort has an exclusive location, just a stone’s throw from the water’s edge of Lake Powell. At this simple hotel, guests can step outside their door and enjoy a morning surf, splash in the water, or dip in the pool at this waterfront and beach resort. What it lacks in style and detail, it makes up for in location and activities.
Built in 1963 and refurbished in 2005, Lake Powell resort offers basic, clean, and comfortable rooms. A choice of Traditional Quadruple Room, Triple Room and Twin Room are available. A traditional room without views is the standard option but guests can opt for a marina view or a lake view. We recommend paying the small difference for a premium view onto the Lake.
Free Wi-Fi is available in Lake Powell Resort Lobby and Driftwood Lounge. A rollaway bed or crib is available upon request. Bathrooms are small and have low shower ceilings, unsuitable for those much taller than six foot tall
Situated in the Wahweap Marina area, seven miles from the middle of Page, this hotel is right on the water’s edge of Lake Powell. A popular choice for water sports enthusiasts and active families, it’s in a great spot to enjoy the facilities, excursions and equipment on offer. The Glen Canyon Dam, Coyote Buttes, Lone Rock Beach, Carl Hayden Visitor Center, Antelope Canyon and Antelope Point Marina Village are all within easy driving distance.
Guests should be aware that as the resort is located within the park boundaries there is a small vehicle fee, which is good for seven consecutive days.
Food and Drink
The hotel’s Driftwood Restaurant overlooks Lake Powell and the surrounding mountains. This relaxing venue offers appetizers and snacks as well as more substantial meals. Booking ahead and requesting a table in The Rainbow Room will ensure you have the best views.
The concept coffee bar, with its relaxing seating area, is located in the lobby of Lake Powell Resort. Offering coffee and tea by day and wine in the evenings. There’s also a souvenir shop and vending machine in the lobby.
There are no elevators in the buildings, so those who have difficulties maneuvering stairs will need to reserve a room on the first floor.
Although it could do with a remodel, Lake Powell Resort is a good choice for families and visitors hoping to explore the Colorado River and Glen Canyon National Recreation Area and try out the water sports and outdoor recreational activities.
