Built on the private ancestral land of the Dena'ina people, this camp is set on the edge of Lake Clark National Park, and surrounded by a population of brown bears. Tents face the shoreline of Cook Inlet and are weatherproof with solid doors and floors. Each tent offers a choice of twin or one king bed, and mens and womens bathrooms are shared. Each tent has a small porta-potty for nighttime use.
An electrified fence surrounds the camp, and is powered by solar electricity, which also runs the lights. Meals are served in the larger dining tent, which also serves as a space for presentations, and charging facilities are available here. Your resident chef cooks up locally sourced, delicious meals, usually including fresh fish and seafood caught close by.
