Totem Hotel & Suites

Situated within walking distance of the charming harbour of Valdez is the Totem Hotel and Suites, a modern hotel offering a comfortable range of eco-friendly and spacious guest rooms, suites and cabins.

The property is located just on the edge of downtown Valdez and one block away from the harbour front making it an ideal spot from which to explore. Just a leisurely 10-minute stroll along the harbour is a variety of restaurants and food trucks, as well as Valdez’s main water-based attractions such as fishing, sea kayaking and wildlife cruises. In town, you’ll find the Valdez Convention & Visitors Bureau, as well as the Valdez Museum.

The hotel provides refreshing and modern decor and each room includes air conditioning, a coffee maker and tea facilities, a mini fridge, microwave and a television with laundry facilities available on the first floor. If you're looking for a little more space, the Chugach Suites feature a full size and fully equipped kitchen, a washer/dryer in each suite and separate living and sleeping areas. As an alternative and unique option, Totem Hotel & Suites also have ten charming cabins at the back of the property all of which feature a fully equipped kitchen, one queen bed, a sofa bed and a bathroom as well as their own covered porch. Outside of each cabin you will also find a barbecue and picnic table.

Both hot and cold continental breakfast options are available and included, served from 6am to 9am every morning in the great room. Guests can also help themselves to complimentary tea and coffee here or in the lobby.

Onsite you can make use of the indoor pool between the hours of 6am and 10pm, and there is a fitness room equipped with free weights and cardiovascular equipment which is open 24/7. Complimentary Wi-Fi is available throughout the property and free parking is available. Accessible rooms can also be requested.
