The Ghan Train

Operating between the south coast at Adelaide and the north coast at Darwin (and vice versa), and tracing in the footsteps of Afghan cameleers, the Ghan offers the most comfortable way to see the Red Centre of Australia.

All twin sleepers offer comfortable three-seater lounges which convert into sleeping berths, private en suite bathroom with toilet, shower and wash basin (please note that facilities for single cabins are shared). The cabins are fully serviced by your own steward with fresh sheets and pillows. Cabins also feature power points, a full-length mirror, reading lamps and foldaway table.

Dining is in a beautifully decorated restaurant car, so you can enjoy fine food and wine whilst taking in the panoramic views across this vast and beautiful continent.
