Enjoy one of Australia's most exciting adventure-based tours today and experience the wetlands and Outback that lie on Darwin's doorstep. Your tour will include a low level floatplane flight to the wetlands of the Mary River floodplain where you'll land and enjoy a meal on a floating pontoon before embarking on a fan boat for some saltwater crocodile spotting.

You'll be transferred to the Darwin airport this morning in time for your short domestic flight to Kununurra and then onwards onto a light aircraft transfer to Bullo River Station, one of the Northern Territory's hidden gems. Upon arrival at Bullo you'll be greeted by its hosts before enjoying an afternoon exploring the station.

Spend a day on the cattle station trying out typical local activities such as fishing or horse riding, or take a helicopter tour of the station.

Return back to civilisation today with a scenic flight back to Kununurra and then your onwards flight to Darwin. Here you'll spend one final night.

You'll be transferred to Darwin Train Station this morning in time for your four day, three night train expedition, which will see you travel 2,979 kilometres (1,851 miles) from Darwin all the way to the southern city of Adelaide. The first leg of your journey today will take you to the Top End township of Katherine and the option to take a relaxing cruise through the Nitmiluk Gorge.

You'll awake this morning to a very different set of landscapes with the tropical north having given way to the spectacular Red Centre overnight. A full day of excursions is on the menu today in the outback town of Alice Springs, though you may wish to choose to upgrade onboard and take a scenic flight to Uluru as part of your day's adventure. Dinner will be served under the stars tonight at the historic Alice Springs Telegraph Station.

If you haven't quite grasped the scale of the Australian Outback by now then today you almost certainly will as your expedition travels to the weird and wonderful opal mining township of Coober Pedy, a town unique not just for its link to opals but also the fact that more than half of the residents live underground.

You'll see a dramatic change of landscapes today as your journey comes out of the Red Centre and edges closer to the coast and the cosmopolitan city of Adelaide. You'll arrive into Adelaide mid-morning this morning where you'll be transferred to your hotel and spend the final night of your itinerary.
