Itinerary idea in detail

With international flights from a choice of airports including London, Birmingham, Manchester, Newcastle, Edinburgh and Glasgow.

  • Today you begin your journey by boarding your international outbound flight to Vienna. Welcome to Vienna. Orient yourself on a private fiacre ride of Vienna’s old town that will take you past many of the city’s famous landmarks.

  • This morning, head out for a private walking tour of Vienna’s central district before being met by a driver and brought to Schönbrunn Palace, the former summer residence of the Habsburg rulers. This afternoon, enjoy a performance at the world-renowned Spanish Riding School.

  • With your guide, explore Vienna’s rich coffeehouse culture by visiting several of the city’s most notable establishments that were frequented by exceptional historical figures. Later this afternoon, have some fun at a quick Viennese waltz lesson.

  • Today, explore the Wachau Valley region, located just north of Vienna. First, visit the historic and well-preserved Melk Abbey before you take a cruise down the Danube and learn about the area’s rich wine region.

  • Today, with your guide, explore the city’s Jewish heritage. Visit sites of particular importance to the Jewish faith and learn the role Austria played during World War II and the persecution of the local Jewish population.

  • This morning, you’ll be met by your private guide and chef and visit Vienna’s outdoor markets, collecting produce along the way, before heading back to the chef’s apartment to cook up a hearty, traditional Viennese lunch. Later this evening, wear a chic outfit for an evening at Vienna’s stately State Opera.

  • Bid auf Wiedersehen to Austria and make your way to the airport for your flight back home. Your return flight will arrive the same day.
