Chospa

Ladakh, India

Just 400 meters from the bustling Leh Main Market, Chospa seamlessly blends contemporary style with authentic Ladakhi architecture, offering an exceptional stay in the heart of town. Owned by the same family that later established Kyagar in the Nubra Valley, the hotel embodies tradition and modern comfort with impeccable service.

You are greeted at atrium lobby that exudes a casual yet calming ambiance, reminiscent of traditional Ladakhi homes. The space extends to the rear, revealing open seating that doubles as a charming coffee and tea bar, stocked with fresh pastries, cakes, bakery selections, and grab-and-go dried fruits. The Old Road Café elevates casual dining with a thoughtfully curated menu, featuring soups, pizzas, sandwiches, burgers, and local delicacies.

The seventeen Club rooms, each with en-suite facilities, follow a minimalistic design philosophy, incorporating earth, stone, and wood to reflect Ladakh’s natural esthetic.

On the ground floor, the main restaurant, Juniper, upholds the cherished Ladakhi tradition of hospitality — ensuring no guest leaves hungry. It serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner, with a chef’s table experience highlighting international cuisine infused with Ladakhi and Tibetan flavors.

For relaxation, Chospa also has a spa, complete with a sauna and steam room, perfect for unwinding after exploring Leh.
