Itinerary idea in detail

Includes international flights from a choice of UK airports, including London, Birmingham, Manchester, Newcastle, Edinburgh and Glasgow.

  • Today you begin your journey by boarding your international outbound flight to Tahiti.

  • You will be met on arrival in Tahiti and transferred in a private car to the pier, where you have a morning ferry booked to connect to Moorea. On arrival, a private transfer vehicle will meet you at the pier. Once your luggage is on board, you will be transferred along the island's north coast to your resort overlooking the lagoon and ocean between Cooks Bay and Opunohu inlet. Please be aware that the official check-in time is 14:00 on Moorea, although resorts do their best to secure earlier check-ins where possible for arrivals in the quieter season. The resort has courtesy facilities available for you if you need to wait for your room, and you can relax by the pool or in the lagoon until the room is ready.

  • Relax on Moorea today and enjoy the beautiful coastal and volcanic mountain scenery. Should you wish to arrange some touring locally, we highly recommend the dolphin and whale watching tours.

  • We've arranged for a half-day 4x4 safari tour today to explore some sites away from your resort. In addition to visiting some local highlights, you'll also scale peaks accessible only by 4x4 for fantastic views down to the villages, the lagoon, and the ocean beyond the reef.

  • A further full day at leisure on Moorea. Perhaps spend some time beachcombing and spoil yourself with a spa treatment. Alternatively, should you wish to be more active, then you could pick up a paddleboard, kayak or take advantage of one of the many walking trails on offer.

  • You can relax this morning over breakfast and then check out before the private car transfer to the airport for your Air Tahiti direct flight to Raiatea. On arrival there, look out for the sacred eels alongside the boat jetty as you board your launch to Le Taha'a by Pearl Resorts on an outer reef motu. Here you may smell the scent of vanilla wafting off the island. Taha'a is known as the vanilla island, as a large volume of Tahitian vanilla is harvested here.

  • A full day at leisure at your resort which enjoys a very relaxing location on the outer reef with fine views of the lagoon and surrounding islands. You may wish to grab a snorkel and mask and float through the coral garden next to the resort to see a variety of tropical fish.

  • A full day at leisure on Taha'a. If you do decide to visit Raiatea, then the forested rivers and waterfalls are our favourites, and the lagoon has some wonderful coral gardens for swimming and snorkelling. Look out for the turtles which live in the lagoon and are very inquisitive. You may also want to book something more cultural, like a visit to the UNESCO World Heritage site, Taputapuatea.

  • On your final day in Taha’a, you may want to take the complimentary resort shuttle over to the main island. Once there, consider visiting the local rum distillery and soap factory, or browsing for Tahitian vanilla and Tahitian cultured pearls, renowned for their rich, dark hues.

  • A morning launch transfer has been arranged today back to Raiatea airport for the direct Air Tahiti flight to Bora Bora. On arrival, you will be met by Le Bora Bora Pearl Resort hosts who will transfer you to your resort. Please be aware that you will arrive just before lunch, so it is possible your room may not be ready for a couple of hours, depending on check-out times. Your resort does have courtesy facilities if you need to wait, and you can change and relax before enjoying lunch. Your room should be ready straight afterwards at the latest.

  • At leisure on Bora Bora, to relax and enjoy the excellent facilities at your hotel or, alternatively, perhaps go out to explore the lagoon or nearby deserted motus. There is some outstanding snorkelling to be had in the resort's lagoon.

  • Spend your morning at leisure enjoying the facilities on offer. You may wish to take to the water with a kayak, stand-up paddleboard or windsurfer or learn more about Polynesian culture through demonstrations covering coconut frond weaving and traditional cooking methods. In the afternoon, we've arranged for a sunset sailing cruise, allowing you to sip on a cocktail as the sun sets.

  • Today, unwind by the pool or treat yourself to a spa session inspired by Polynesian traditions. At night, make reservations at the gourmet restaurant, or if it's Polynesian night, don't miss dinner with a show that includes traditional dance, costumes and even elements of fire.

  • Enjoy your last day in Bora Bora before transferring back to the Bora Bora airport for your flight to Tahiti. You will spend your last night in Tahiti to ensure an early morning international departure home.

  • This morning you'll be collected from your overnight accommodations and taken to Faa'a International Airport for your journey home.

  • On-board your international return flight home.

  • Arrive home today to complete your journey.
