Today you begin your journey by boarding your international outbound flight to Tahiti.
Day 2 Moorea
You will be met on arrival in Tahiti and transferred in a private car to the pier where you have a morning ferry booked to connect across to Moorea. On arrival a private transfer vehicle will be there to meet you at the pier and once your luggage is on board you will be transferred along the north coast of the island to your resort overlooking the lagoon and ocean between Cooks Bay and Opunohu inlet. Please be aware that the official check in time is 14.00 on Moorea although resorts do their best to secure earlier check ins where possible for arrivals in the quieter season. The resort does have courtesy facilities available for you to use if you do need to wait for your room and you can relax by the pool or in the lagoon until the room is ready.
Day 3 Moorea
Relax on Moorea today and enjoy the beautiful coastal and volcanic mountain scenery. Should you wish to arrange some touring locally then we highly recommend the dolphin and whale watching tours of which the best are those run by Dr Michael Poole.
Day 4 Moorea
We've arranged for a half day 4WD Safari Tour today to explore some sites away from your resort. As well as visiting some of the local highlights, and a you'll also scale peaks only accessible by 4WD for fantastic views down to the villages, the lagoon and the ocean beyond the reef.
Day 5 Moorea
A further full day at leisure on Moorea. Perhaps spend some time beachcombing on spoil yourself with a spa treatment. Alternatively, should you wish to be more active, then you could pick up a paddle board, kayak or take advantage of one of the many walking trails on offer.
Day 6 Vahine Island
You can relax this morning over breakfast and then check out before the private car transfer to the airport for your Air Tahiti direct flight to Raiatea. On arrival there look out for the sacred eels alongside the boat jetty as you board your launch to Vahine Island Resort on an outer reef motu.
Day 7 Vahine Island
A full day at leisure on Vahine Island at your resort which enjoys a very relaxing location on the outer reef with fine views of the lagoon and islands. Take the time to talk to your hosts today as they are experts in the best ways to explore the lagoon and the islands of Taha'a and Raiatea which both occupy the same reef system.
Day 8 Vahine Island
A full day at leisure on Vahine. If you do decide to visit Raiatea then the forested rivers and waterfalls are our favourites and the lagoon has some wonderful coral gardens for swimming and snorkelling. Look out for the turtles which live in the lagoon and are very inquisitive.
Day 9 Vahine Island
A further full day at leisure at Vahine Island Resort.
Day 10 Bora Bora
A morning launch transfer has been arranged today back to Raiatea airport for the direct Air Tahiti flight to Bora Bora. On arrival you will be met by the InterContinental Thalasso Spa launch and transferred to your resort. Please be aware that you will arrive just before lunch and so it is possible your room may not be ready for a couple of hours depending on check out times. Your resort does have courtesy facilities if you need to wait and you can change and relax before enjoying lunch and your room should be ready straight afterwards at the latest.
Day 11 Bora Bora
At leisure on Bora Bora to relax and enjoy the excellent facilities at your hotel or, alternatively, perhaps go out to explore the lagoon or nearby deserted motus. There are some outstanding snorkelling to be had in the resort's lagoon, while its lagoonarium is home to more than 200 marine species.
Day 12 Bora Bora
Spend your morning at leisure enjoying the facilities on offer. You may wish to take to the water with a kayak, stand-up paddle board or windsurfer or learn more about Polynesian culture through demonstrations covering coconut frond weaving and traditional cooking methods. In the afternoon we've arranged for a sunset sailing cruise - allowing you to sip on a cocktail as the sun sets.
Day 13 Bora Bora
Perhaps the resort’s greatest feature, the Deep Ocean Spa is popular with guests staying both here and at other resorts on the island. Set in lush tropical gardens between the lagoon and the ocean, it offers the unique concept of thalassotherapy, using mineral-rich sea water drawn from deep in the Pacific Ocean. It also provides treatments based on traditional Polynesian healing rituals, and all treatments can be enjoyed in glass-bottom treatment rooms, allowing you to observe colourful fish swimming in the lagoon below as you’re being pampered. Further facilities at the spa include steam baths and showers, a fitness centre and a tea lounge to extend the feeling of wellbeing.
