Rhine Valley & Black Forest highlights

Spend the day visiting the famous Rhine Valley including time in the traditional town of Rudesheim and a boat ride taking in small villages and riverside castles.

Leaving Frankfurt, you'll be transferred by a private driver to the town of Heidelberg, just an hour away. Here you'll settle in and enjoy an afternoon walking tour of the historic district with your guide.

Continue your time in Heidelberg with a guided tour of its most famous attraction, the Heidelberg Castle. After, you'll have leisure time to continue taking in the sights of this university town on the Neckar River.

From Heidelberg, you'll be driven south into the Black Forest to Freiburg, a journey of around two hours. Along the way, you'll stop in Baden-Baden for a guided tour of this spa town on the northern edge of the forest.

This morning, you'll be met by a private guide for a walking tour of Freiburg's popular farmer's market, where you can try local specialities directly from the vendors. You'll then continue through the historic old town.

Today, you'll join a driver-guide who will take you east to Lake Titisee. You'll begin with a shared lake cruise to learn a bit more about the area. After, enjoy lunch in town and then explore on your own, perhaps enjoying a hike in the scenic trails before returning to Freiburg.

With the trip coming to an end, you'll be transferred by private vehicle from your hotel in Freiburg to the airport in time for your return flight. Your return flight will arrive the same day.
