Guests are met at their hotel reception at 9am by their private guide Carlos to begin a full day excursion to the "Finca El Cisne". Carlos' family owns the farm, and he takes you on a tranquil horseback ride through the farmlands and beautiful scenery of the Copán valley followed by a hearty farmhouse lunch cooked by Carlos' mother. After lunch, you can taste the coffee grown at the farm.
In the afternoon, you can explore the coffee and cardamom plantations and learn about cattle ranching. On the way back to Copán, you have the opportunity to take a relaxing dip in the hot springs so remember to bring your bathing suit.

Copán Archaeological Site
A guided tour of the beautiful archaeological site of Copán, marking the most southerly point of the Maya Empire. Discovered in 1570 by Diego García de Palacio, the ruins of Copán were not excavated until the 19th century.
