Things to do in Morocco

A sultry blend of ancient cities, sweeping sand dunes and craggy mountains edged by fertile valleys, Morocco is one of North Africa’s most rewarding destinations. Activities here range from bartering in medieval souks for spices and textiles to tackling challenging walking trails in near-deserted mountains. Step back in time as you meander through the labyrinthine medina in Fez, watch snake charmers, storytellers and acrobats in Marrakesh' s Djemaa El Fna or spend the night amongst the Erg Chebbi sand dunes at a Saharan desert camp.

Other things to do include a trip to the High Atlas Mountains, the dramatic Todra Gorge, or Ait Ben Haddou, one of Morocco’s most recognisable kasbahs.
