Amanbagh

A truly opulent hotel with all the luxuries of a stylish Aman property. Situated in the Shekhawati region and near to Sariska National Park, this hotel offers itself as a haven away from the bustle of the Rajasthani cities. In fact the property derives its name from the word Aman, meaning peace in Sanskrit, and Bagh, meaning garden in Hindi.

All suites are spacious and extremely comfortable with domed ceilings and private outdoor spaces. The Courtyard Haveli Suites can feel a little dark but offer the utmost privacy. Garden Haveli Suites have a private terrace overlooking the grounds whilst the Terrace Haveli Suites are located on the upper level and have a large private terrace. The Pool Pavilions are located around the perimeter of the resort and each has its own private pool and garden — they offer total privacy and are the perfect hideaways.

The pool is at the centre of resort and is the perfect place to relax and unwind and there is an excellent spa, small boutique and library with in internet PC, although the entire resort has Wi-Fi. The restaurant is located on the ground floor of the main building and provides a regal atmosphere beneath its high ceiling. Fires are lit in the colder months while in the warmer months the candlelit tables on the terrace are popular. The food is excellent and many vegetables and herbs are grown in the organic kitchen garden. There are a number of interesting excursions from Amanbagh which offer an insight into rural life in Rajasthan and wonderful experiences, if you can bear to leave the property!
