Royal Heritage Haveli
Built in the 18th century by Madho Singh Ji of Jaipur, Royal Heritage Haveli is a small boutique hotel that’s big in character. It offers just a handful of well-appointed suites, each designed in a charming traditional style, with grand furniture creating a regal feel.
The property is set in pleasant gardens, providing a relaxing retreat from the hustle and bustle of Jaipur. The owners, Angelique and Pradip, provide a friendly, personalised service to each guest and are always happy to give advice and share stories about their city, ensuring that you get the most out of your stay.

Rooms
The property offers just a small number of suites, which creates a feeling of intimacy and exclusivity. Each of the suites is beautifully appointed and offer plenty of space and natural light. Traditional furniture adorned with silk and velvet creates a luxurious atmosphere, while a good range of modern amenities will ensure that your stay is comfortable and convenient.
Location
The hotel is located in east Jaipur, on the outskirts of the city, meaning that you can enjoy a quieter atmosphere but still easily travel into Jaipur’s centre.
Food and Drink
Breakfast can be enjoyed on the hotel’s sunny verandas, while Indian and continental fare can be enjoyed at both lunch and dinner in the inner courtyard. For a touch of romance, a private dinner can be arranged on the candle-lit ‘baradari’, a marble and stone veranda facing the pool and gardens. Ingredients used in all dishes are sourced locally, with many of the vegetables taken from the hotel’s own garden.
Facilities and Activities
The tranquil gardens and pretty pool area provide the perfect place to unwind after a day of exploring. Guests can also make use of the spa, where they can indulge in an Ayurvedic or Swedish massage, among other treatments.
Our opinion
Although located a little away from the centre, Royal Heritage Haveli provides a great base from which to explore Jaipur. The owner, Pradip, is often on hand in the evening to discuss your day and offer an insight into his beloved Jaipur.
