Visit to Lemur Island

Visit to Lemur Island, Madagascar

Spend some time at Lemur Island. This is a tiny reserve that protects a number of habituated lemurs. There are four species to see, the bamboo lemur, the black & white ruffed lemur, brown lemur and one diademed sifaka.

This small reserve receives a very large number of tourists so if you go we would suggest first thing in the morning or last thing in the evening. Even during these times you may find several groups of tourists photographing one group of lemurs and feeding them bananas.
