The sheltered harbour of Akaroa is an ideal place for a unique encounter with the world's smallest, rarest and friendliest dolphins, the Hector's dolphins. Your cruise today will take you out along the tranquil waters of the harbour in search of pods of dolphins, and conditions permitting, you will take to the water to join them in their natural environment.
With just ten swimmers allowed on board, you are guaranteed a very personal experience, and the Black Cat company are a Green Globe accredited operation in recognition of their environmental practices. Your guide is on hand at all times to ensure your safety and to answer any queries, and once back on land you will be able to enjoy a hot shower and warm drink.
