Cruise Ships in The Galapagos Islands : SS Mary-Anne
The Mary Anne is the largest of the sail boats that we work with. With almost 1,000 square metres of sail and a slim stern, she is an elegant sight in the water.
The SS Mary Anne is a fast motor sailing yacht that continues the legendary square rigger tradition. With almost 1000 metres of sail and a slim stern she is an elegant sight in the water. The ship has 12 double cabins in a variety of arrangements; some have double beds, some with lower double bed and upper single beds and others with conventional bunk beds.
All cabins are lit by a large porthole, have en-suite facilities and are full air-conditioned. The boat was originally designed to carry 28 passengers, but now carries only 16 and therefore you will find an abundance of communal space. There is an enormous wood panelled bar-lounge and dining room area where guests can enjoy an informal atmosphere. The layout of the boat also provides a large deck space with a cushioned seating area to the front of the vessel.
