There's a good selection of international hotels and resorts along the northern coast of Tunisia, most of which have swimming pools and spa facilities. Elsewhere, accommodation has far more local character and personality, with some wonderful boutique options set in converted traditional houses in Tunis, Sidi Bou Said and Jerba. Much like Moroccan riads, these are generally furnished in a classical local style but with a contemporary eye for detail and an insight into Tunisian life. We've visited all the properties we recommend and chosen our favourites based on location and character.
