Itinerary idea in detail

Ask us if you would also like us to arrange your international flights at our preferred rates.

  • On arrival in Melbourne, you will be transferred by private vehicle to your downtown accommodation. The remainder of the day is free to relax.

  • Today, you will enjoy a full-day private tour of the Boroughs of Melbourne. Meander through the laneways and alleyways, discover Melbourne's coffee culture, enjoy tales of the off-beat city of radicals, sample local treats and learn the best ways Melburnians take advantage of their city.

  • This morning, you will meet your driver in the lobby and head to the Queen Victoria Market for a guided tour of the 600+ stalls spread over two blocks. Here, you will find everything from Australian produce to imported gourmet foods and souvenirs. The rest of your day is for you to explore the city at your own pace.

  • Today you will collect your car hire and spend your day at leisure heading down to Geelong and the Bellarine Peninsula. Whether you wish to spend the day wandering through galleries or taking in the sun on a coastal walk, the day is yours to explore before catching the evening car ferry to Sorrento and the Mornington Peninsula.

  • Take in the wilderness of the coastal Mornington Peninsula today. You will be met by your guide for a one-of-a-kind eco-adventure that includes stand-up paddleboarding with dolphins and rays and hiking along nature rainforest trails with the chance to spot koalas, kangaroos, echidnas and other endemic wildlife. You will soak up the sun in hidden swimming pools, followed by a delicious picnic lunch with local produce and wines, before taking a dip in the Peninsula's hot springs. The day ends with a scenic drive back via the summit of the Mornington Peninsula.

  • Today is reserved for leisure, whether that's getting spa treatments and enjoying the nearby hot springs or hitting up the local vineyards. The Mornington Peninsula is home to over 170 vineyards and over 50 cellar doors featuring cool-climate wines like Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.

  • Awake for a day on Phillip Island. Today will be dedicated to seeing the little penguins waddle home at sunset during the Phillip Island Penguin Parade. However, there is much to explore before the sun goes down. Wander through scenic walking trails or visit The Nobbies for dramatic rocky landscapes, home to a colony of Australian fur seals.

    Stay at Genesta House
  • Enjoy a leisurely sleep-in before driving the two hours to Wilsons Promontory National Park. Known for its seclusion, world-class birdwatching and unique rock formations, nature enthusiasts will enjoy the peaceful and epic bushwalking of the "Prom" as it's known.

  • With 80 kilometers of walking trails, there are plenty of jaw-dropping views to take in. You may also want to take a walk on Squeaky Beach, which has white quartz sand that is so fine that it squeaks as you walk upon it. In the afternoon, enjoy a Wilsons Promontory cruise to take in rock formations and coastal views offshore — you may also spot a whale or two.

  • The next two days take you just outside Melbourne to the Yarra Valley and Dandenong Ranges. The valley is one of Australia's most prominent wine areas with over 80 cellar doors, gourmet eateries and quaint villages to discover.

  • Arise with the sun, figuratively and literally, this morning with a hot balloon ride over the valley. Catch a glimpse of the valley and ranges above the treetops before returning to Earth for a gourmet breakfast. The afternoon is left at your leisure for your last day in Australia.

  • Make your way back to the airport today for your onward flight.
