Wilsons Promontory National Park, or 'The Prom' as it is known locally, is a remote and beautiful landscape supporting diverse native flora and fauna.

Driving through Wilsons Promontory National Park, AustraliaThere is a 30 kilometer access road that leads to Tidal River on the western coast, a tiny settlement that has a Parks Victoria office, a general store, petrol station and an open-air cinema.

It is the main access point for the park's 130 kilometers of walking tracks and some wonderful beaches. Activities are focused around the excellent bushwalking, which can be anything from a 15-minute gentle stroll to overnight or longer hikes into the less visited and pristine northern area of the park.
