Hidden in a forest of ancient maples in the town of Owen Sound, Highland Manor is a grand Victorian house that has evolved into an enchanting B&B. High ceilings, hardwood floors and period decor give a rich sense of the building's heritage, while the library, dining room and music room offer a glimpse into the patterns of Victorian living.
With just four guest rooms, the property offers an intimate ambiance and personal service. The rooms are spacious and styled in period fashion with antique furniture, heritage fabrics and large area rugs. Owners Linda Bradford and Paul Neville pride themselves on their attention to detail and guests will find fresh flowers in each room and in the morning, home-cooked breakfasts with a choice of daily changing hot dishes.
Relax on the veranda in the evening with a glass of wine, listen as Linda plays the grand piano, and just slow down and soak up the atmosphere of gracious living.

Photos of Highland Manor
This beautiful Victorian inn, coupled with Linda and Paul's warm hospitality, make this a very special place to stay in the heart of Owen Sound.
The guesthouse has four rooms all of which are individually decorated in period style. Antique furniture, original fireplaces and heritage fabrics give a homely but elegant feel, while large armchairs or rocking chairs, net curtains and soft lighting create a tranquil space in which to relax.
The Fleming is the most spacious room and decorated in pale tones, The Moore has two double beds, The Ross a combination of warm woods and deep reds, while The Buchanan is a little smaller and features teal decor. All rooms have en suite bathrooms and ceiling fans.

It is the largest town in the region and offers easy access to the scenic Bruce Peninsula with its rugged Lake Huron shoreline and its dense forests. There are also many waterfalls in the region.
