The hotel offers several room types to choose from, including twin rooms and inter-connecting rooms for families. Those at the front of the hotel look out over the gardens, while the rest overlook Tadoussac Bay and the St Lawrence River. All have a simple but warm décor and come with an en suite bathroom, flat-screen TV, Wi-Fi and a coffee maker.
The Hotel Tadoussac is just moments from the shores of Tadoussac Bay, while restaurants and cafes are within a five-minute walk. An ideal base for exploring the St Lawrence and the Saguenay Fjord, whale-watching tours depart from Tadoussac daily. The ferry terminal is within a ten-minute drive of the hotel, making it easy for you to explore the Charlevoix region.
Food and drink
The hotel has two dining rooms, the Le William restaurant and the more formal Le Coverdale Dining room. Both use produce sourced from the Charlevoix region and fresh local seafood. The Le William Restaurant’s large windows overlook the gardens and Tadoussac Bay. There’s also a bar that leads onto the conservatory where you can enjoy a cocktail, as well as a cafe-lounge, Coquart, serving coffee, pastries and light lunches.
You can spend time as a family with a game of tennis, in the outdoor pool, or in the games room. Some of the rooms interconnect, creating more space for families.
Facilities and activities
In addition to whale-watching tours along the St Lawrence and into the Saguenay Fjord, the hotel offers a swimming pool and tennis court within its grounds. The area has many scenic trails for hiking, as well as a golf course. Guests can relax in the spa area and children can find entertainment in the games room.
While this historic hotel is simple in style, we think its waterfront location is hard to beat. Situated in the heart of the small town of Tadoussac, the best restaurants are just a short walk away.
