Totem Chalet has been built around a full-size carved totem pole to create a beautiful North American mountain retreat.

This 390 sq m (4,200 sq ft), four-story private home offers a wide range of contemporary facilities along with plenty of outdoor balconies and decks that make the most of the mountain views.

OUR OPINION:

This beautiful, large and comfortable house offers the perfect base for a memorable stay in Whistler. The open fireplaces and exposed wood add a real Canadian mountain ambience.

Rooms

The property offers three bedrooms. On the ground floor can be found the guest bedroom which consists of a king bed (that can be split into two twins) and an en suite bathroom. The guest master bedroom is located on the lower floor and this comes with a queen bed, a sitting area with single futon, and an en suite bathroom with soaker tub. The top floor of the house is dedicated to the master suite which features a king bed, sitting area with wood-burning fireplace, private patio, dressing room and an en suite bathroom with shower and two-person bathtub.

Location

Situated on Blueberry Hill, the shops, bars and restaurants of Whistler Village are just a five-minute drive away. The heart of Whistler is also just a 20-minute walk away, along the paved pedestrian and bicycle-only Valley Trail. Totem Chalet affords glorious view of the mountains and Whistler Golf Club.

Food and drink

The heart of this atmospheric house is the first-floor, fully-equipped kitchen. Adjacent to this is the dining area that features a handmade table with inlaid First Nations carving.

Facilities and activities

The living room on the main first floor affords a vaulted ceiling, a huge wood-burning fireplace and floor to ceiling windows that frame the spectacular views. In addition there is a billiards room, a private gym, steam shower, outdoor hot tub, boot room, laundry room and various outdoor terraces and balconies. The top floor of the house has an observation deck offering the best of the mountain views.
