While the ships vary in size, most have a traditional atmosphere, with elegant dark wood and polished brass throughout. All are identical in terms of the facilities and excursions offered, cruising along the same stretch of the Yangtze. The guided on shore activities allow you to explore key sites along the river, including Shibaozhai Temple, Shennong Stream, the historic city of Nanjing and the picturesque Three Gorges, providing a fascinating glimpse into authentic China.

Entertainment on board includes interesting lectures on Chinese history and culture, daily t'ai chi lessons and fashion shows demonstrating the elaborate Chinese fashions worn through history. For those preferring a quiet night in, feature films are shown on your cabin’s TV. Meanwhile, the observation deck is a place to sit back and take in the river’s magnificent scenery as you sail through the Three Gorges and pass mountainous landscapes.

The deck plans featured on this page are representative of just some of Victoria Cruises’ fleet, although all are fairly similar. Our specialists can explain any subtle differences between the ships in detail, and the vessel you sail on is dependent on the timing of your journey.

The number of cabins ranges between 100 and 180 across the fleet, accommodating from 198 to 378 passengers. Each cabin faces out to the river, with private balconies offering excellent views of the passing scenery. All en suite, the cabins are air conditioned and equipped with twin beds. The more spacious suites also boast private sitting areas.
