Manado is famed for its diving, with some of the world’s most spectacular and accessible coral reefs located anywhere.

There are several reputable dive centers and it is easy to organize dive excursions here with the islands of Palau Siladan and Palau Bunaken, located just one hour by boat from Manado.

World War II airplane wrecks

Turtles and dolphins are often spotted and knowledgeable dive operators can take you to explore some sunken World War II airplane wrecks.

With easy access from Manado international airport, visitors can fly via Singapore, Denpasar on Bali or Jakarta on Java.
