The family owned Grand Hotel Sitea was built in the mid-1900s. It's situated in the heart of Turin, close to Piazza Castello and not far from the Egyptian Museum, fine-dining restaurants and boutique shops. The 120 rooms are elegantly furnished in a traditional style and offer ample space in which to relax and unwind. All are equipped with air conditioning in warmer months, heating in cooler months and internet connection. The modern bathrooms are finished with fine white marble and classic décor.

Breakfast is served in a buffet style and you can dine either indoors or outside in the garden. There's a bar located by the reception, finished with leather seats reflecting a classic Italian style. The Carlo e Camilo Bistro is open for lunch and dinner, serving regional dishes in an informal setting. Alternatively, sit down to a fine-dining meal in the Carignano Restaurant, which has just five tables to ensure an intimate atmosphere and high levels of service. The hotel staff are attentive and welcoming to all guests in the hotel.

OUR OPINION:

This charming hotel has a central location in Turin, within easy walking distance of the city’s main landmarks and sites. With excellent restaurants and warm, attentive staff, you can expect a comfortable stay here.

Rooms

The hotel's 120 rooms and suites are decorated in a classic Italian style, and have plenty of natural light. Furnishings reflect the early 20th century, when the hotel was built. There are several room and suite categories to choose from, varying in size and amenities. Some are able to interconnect to accommodate families. All are equipped with air conditioning for the warmer months and heating in the colder months, as well as Wi-Fi connection. The bathrooms have a classic decor and are finished in fine white marble.

Location

Situated in the heart of Turin, the Grand Hotel Sitea is within easy walking distance of the city's museums, shops and restaurants. The Egyptian Museum is just a few minutes' walk from the property, while the River Po is close enough for you to head out in the evening for a riverside stroll. 

Food and drink

There are a few dining options at Grand Hotel Sitea. In the morning, the buffet breakfast comprises a selection of local and regional Piedmont products, including fresh fruit, yogurts and cold meats of your choice. In the evening, the Carignano Restaurant is a more refined place to enjoy a meal, while the Bistrot Carlo e Camillo has a charming but more informal setting. Both restaurants serve lunch and dinner. Located next to the reception is the American Bar which has a snack service and a light menu along with fine cocktails and drinks.
