This lovely tented camp is set on a hillside with breathtaking views over Mount Kenya and the Ewaso Narok river. Laikipia Wilderness Camp is owned and hosted by Steve and Annabelle Carey who have over 20 years' experience in running walking safaris and managing safari camps throughout Africa.
There are ten tents here, each measuring 4 x 5 meters, with a spacious balcony and a partially covered open-air bathroom at the back. All of the tents are east facing to enjoy the sunrise each day. The central mess area is a spacious tented area, with mahogany poles, plenty of comfy seats and windows everywhere to make the most of the view.
Activities are varied and include guided walking safaris, game drives, night drives, swimming, tubing and fishing in the river, Samburu village visits and birding.
