The Sands at Nomad is a luxury boutique hotel on Diani Beach. The hotel is set amid indigenous tropical forest and overlooking the Indian Ocean.

There are 30 luxurious rooms and suites and seven private cottages all with a unique design and furnished with traditional Swahili carved pieces. All rooms have air conditioning, entertainment systems, private bars and some have their own Jacuzzis.

There is also a 24-hour room service and the hotel has a spa called The Forest Breeze which offers traditional massages and Ayurvedic and reflexology treatments.

Food is good at The Sands with a selection of à la carte dining options including The Red Pepper, where you can enjoy contemporary Thai cuisine, and the Rivas Bar.

The hotel has a PADI 5-star dive center which offers dive courses, wreck explorations and whale shark spotting. Other water sports on offer including kitesurfing, windsurfing, kayaking and deep sea fishing.
