Mkulumadzi

Mkulumadzi is located in a private concession area within the Majete Wildlife Reserve. A luxurious lodge, it has eight beautiful chalets tucked into the riverine forest of marula, leadwood and star chestnut trees.

Each chalet has a spacious bedroom and lounge area, en suite bathroom with sunken bath and outdoor shower. All have private decks with stunning views of the Shire River. The main lodge houses a restaurant with inside and outside dining areas, lounge and terrace, bar, small shop, and swimming pool.

The lodge hosts several activities, starting with exciting game drives lead by expert guides. These take place in the morning, or longer excursions can be arranged. For a different point of view, take advantage of a spot in the hide that overlooks a waterhole, where a range of animals come to drink and can make for fantastic photographs. Guests can also spend a special night on a raised star-deck beneath the stars, complete with cotton linen, a canopy mosquito net, bedside tables, lanterns, and more — perfect for a truly immersive experience in the wild.
