The Desert Camp, Sossusvlei & Sesriem, Namibia
The Desert Camp is situated about five kilometers from its sister property the main Sossusvlei Lodge.
The camp's affordable accommodation comprises twenty units, each with en-suite bathroom, twin beds, shaded verandah with outside cooking facilities including a small zipped away kitchenette and barbecue. Each accommodation unit sleeps a maximum of two adults and one child under the age of 12 years. The units have power points for hairdryers and shavers (220V) in the room as well as an external power point and vehicle parking.
The Desert Camp does not have its own restaurant but meal packs with all barbecue equipment can be ordered at the Camp's reception, or alternatively you can book table reservations at the Sossusvlei Lodge restaurant or enjoy a chefs dinner at the boma area on request. There is a bar constructed from carved wood with a large screen television for viewing news and sporting events. The small swimming pool is the focal point of the central communal area.
