Here you can sit out on the deck which overlooks the garden or relax in the living room on the comfy couches with a book. All the rooms open to a deck or patio, have an extensive minibar, and a king bed with luxurious linen.

Rooms

At 970 Lonely Bay Lodge, you will find three one-bedroom suites and one two-bedroom suite that are all equipped with a king size bed fitted with fine linens, an extensive complimentary minibar, an outdoor patio or terrace with views of Purangi Estuary or Cooks Beach, and a large en suite bathroom with high-end toiletries.

Location

The Coromandel Peninsula is just under a three-hour drive from Auckland and is a great place to explore some of New Zealand’s best beaches. From the property, you are within driving distance to the Hahei Marine Reserve — Te Whanganui-A-Hei, and a 10-minute drive to the clifftop tracks that lead down to Cathedral Cove.

Food and drink

Breakfast is served daily in the dining room or outside on the deck on a sunny day. For lunch and dinner, you can drive to Whitianga Ferry Landing and take a two-minute ferry to Whitianga for a meal.

Families

Not suitable for families unless renting the property for exclusive use.
