Koh Mook Sivalai Beach Resort

Thailand

Situated on a scenic sand spit at the eastern tip of Koh Mook, Koh Mook Sivalai Beach Resort makes the most of its unique coastal position, with beaches and sea views on either side of the property. Surrounded by clear Andaman waters, it offers a peaceful island setting while remaining within walking distance of the local village.

The resort's accommodations consists of individual bungalows scattered throughout the tropical grounds. Interiors are simple and functional, featuring contemporary styling, clean lines, and natural tones complemented by soft blue and green accents. Each bungalow features a private terrace with sun loungers, creating a comfortable outdoor space to relax after a day on the beach.

For those wanting an alternative to the sea, the resort has two swimming pools, while a small spa offers a range of treatments designed to help guests unwind. Families are well catered for with a children’s play area, and the on-site dive hub provides opportunities to explore the surrounding reefs and marine life.

Dining is a particular highlight. The restaurant occupies a prominent position at the tip of the beach, offering panoramic views across the sea and toward the limestone cliffs and islands that characterize this part of southern Thailand. The setting is especially appealing at sunrise, when the surrounding landscape is bathed in soft morning light.

Although the resort feels secluded, a small village can be reached in about ten minutes on foot, offering a handful of local restaurants, cafes, and shops that provide an insight into daily life on the island.

OUR OPINION:

Koh Mook Sivalai Beach Resort's greatest asset is its location. Occupying one of the most attractive stretches of beach on Koh Mook, it offers a sense of space and tranquility that’s difficult to match. The places of stay are comfortable rather than lavish, but the expansive beachfront setting, range of facilities, and easy access to the village make it well-suited to both couples and families
