OUR OPINION:
The Rosewood is an excellent option for couples or families who want a beach retreat to enjoy the comforts of the spacious and beautifully decorated villas and pavilions. Service is attentive and personal, and all of the dining options offer delicious dishes which are quite reasonably priced for a resort of this standard. The beach feels very private with little else around, though at low tide it can be a bit rocky. Rosewood Phuket is one of the top choices for secluded luxury on Phuket.

The Rosewood's 71 pavilions and villas all feature their own private pool with a spacious outdoor terrace with seating and a daybed. The well-stocked minibar is replenished daily by the attentive staff with local and international brands. Bathrooms all feature large double vanities with bathtub and separate rain shower. Villas have a small courtyard leading into the living area, which also have a separate dining area should you wish to dine in the comfort of your room.
Location
Tucked in an exclusive bay with a long stretch of beach, the Rosewood's location is perfect for a relaxing getaway. Guests would never know that they were only a few minutes away from Patong, which guests can visit for lunch or dinner before coming back to this quiet retreat. Phuket Town is about 30 minutes away and makes a great day trip for visitors who want to go further afield.
Food and drink
For dining guests can choose from Red Sauce Italian restaurant which also serves a sumptuous breakfast, The Shack featuring fresh seafood, Ta Khai with an emphasis on authentic Thai cuisine in a beautiful outdoor setting, and Mai poolside lounge which features light international fare. All the while the sun-weathered shores and turquoise waters help to inspire luxury island living.
Families
The Rosewood Explorer's Club is tucked away from the main pool area, giving families with children plenty of privacy. There is a wonderful indoor space with crafts and activities, outdoor play area, and kids' pool available.
Facilities and activities
The Rosewood's wellness focus gives guests the opportunity to experience a wide variety of treatments and activities, including a calendar of daily wellness-based activities. The Asaya Spa offers traditional spa treatments as well as alternative options such as sound therapy. The fitness studio puts on a variety of programs including yoga and Pilates and is open 24 hours a day. Guests can speak to the dedicated staff if they would like to venture out from the resort, with options including visits to Phuket's old town and yacht charters.
