The Silver Galapagos is Silversea's first vessel to operate in the Galapagos archipelago. Formerly the Galapagos Explorer II the vessel has been refurbished to bring it in line with other Silversea expedition vessels operating around the globe. Accommodating 100 guests in total, spacious suites are spread over five decks boasting private bathrooms with hot water showers, sofas and double or twin beds.
Most suites have some sort of balcony although only those on the top deck Silver Suites are considered spacious enough for long-term relaxing. There are two large sun decks, ample bar and lounge for briefings, an elevator to help get between decks and a glass bottomed observation vessel that can be used instead of undertaking snorkeling excursions.
