I have a trip booked with Audley with a travel date within the next 45 days. What are my options?

Your country specialist should have already been in touch with you to discuss your options if your trip departs within the next 45 days. You can either postpone your trip at no cost or take a travel credit for your trip so you can choose a destination and time in the future that suits you.

I have a trip booked with Audley beyond the current 45 day rolling window. What are my options?

We’re currently reaching out to our clients 45 days before they’re due to travel to explain the options available to them. At this time, these options include postponing your trip by up to two years, or receiving a travel credit for the equivalent value of your trip to use within two years.

As you’ll appreciate, the situation is very fluid, and we’re amending and reviewing our approach regularly to fit this changing landscape, while always prioritizing our clients’ safety, comfort and wellbeing. We’re closely monitoring updates from the Center for Disease Control, the World Health Organization and the US State Department and are in regular contact with our local partners in each respective country to get an ‘on-the-ground’ view. Based on these sources of information, we’ll continue to revise and update our policies.

We hope you’ll understand that we’re prioritizing this by departure date. You don’t need to do anything in the meantime, just be assured that we’ll speak to you soon, and that your safety and wellbeing are always our priority.

I’m due to travel in the future but want to cancel or postpone now — can I do that?

The flexibility of our terms and conditions means you can postpone your trip to a date in the future and we won’t charge you any amendment fees to do so. You will, however, be responsible for any changes in cost, for example due to a change in seasonality, your accommodation choices or routing.

If you wish to cancel now, we can organize that for you. The charges that would be applied are those set out in our terms and conditions.

I don’t want to travel unless there’s a vaccine, can I postpone now even if I’m outside the 45-day window?

I’m traveling in the future but have lost confidence in the destination, can I change destination?

We’re happy to accommodate this, but would have to pass on the cancelation charges we incur on your original booking. We’ll then issue you with a credit for the remaining amount for you to spend on an alternative trip. Please be aware that there may additional costs associated with a new country based on a number of factors (e.g. availability, seasonality, destination, etc.).

I’m concerned about Audley’s financial position. Should I be?

No. Audley is particularly well placed to navigate through these uncertain times given our strong reputation for trusted advice and destination expertise, the nature of our business model, and doing what’s right for our clients and our suppliers.

We’ve demonstrated an excellent financial track record over the last 25 years, have strong cash reserves, and a healthy balance sheet, as evidenced in our most recent statutory accounts, which are available to view at Companies House, the United Kingdom’s registrar of companies.
