Located in downtown Richmond, Linden Row Inn comprises seven houses dating back to the mid-1800s and is regarded as America's best surviving row of Greek Revival architecture.
Meticulously restored and renovated over the years, Linden Row retains a strong sense of historic importance, from the houses that served as a school for Lady Astor, the first female Member of Parliament, to the beautiful garden courtyard in which poet Edgar Allan Poe spent his childhood years playing.
Today Linden Row offers 70 guest rooms and suites split between the main house and two carriage houses filled with antiques and reproductions from the Victorian and Empire periods, yet which also feature modern amenities.
A daily continental breakfast is included and whilst the inn does not have its own restaurant, a number of eateries are within easy walking distance, or take advantage of the complimentary shuttle bus.
