Hollywood Hills 2.5 hour Sunset Hike

See the Hollywood sign and watch the sun set over Downtown LA from the Hollywood Hills. This two-and-a-half-hour hike covers around 6.4 km (4 miles), starting at the Greek Theatre in Griffith Park.

You’ll hike up to the summit of Mount Hollywood as your knowledgeable guide talks you through LA’s history. At the top, you’ll have panoramic views of Downtown LA, Hollywood and the Pacific Ocean.

You’ll then head over to another viewpoint overlooking the Hollywood sign, where you can take photographs and learn about the story behind the sign. Your guide will also show you an interactive video presentation of scenes from films and TV shows in the exact locations where they were filmed.

During the final part of your tour, you’ll have the chance to witness a beautiful sunset over LA and the surrounding hills, and visit the Griffith Observatory. Set on the south slope of Mount Hollywood, the observatory has a variety of science and space-related exhibits, as well as public telescopes for gazing up at the stars.
