Bay Avenue B&B

Bay Avenue is a seaside bed and breakfast located on a bluff at the very edge of Kachemak Bay, between Homer's famous spit and the town centre. In addition to delightful scenic views, the property offers guests a quiet, comfortable and convenient location for exploring the Homer region. The house is surrounded by mature spruce trees, which are a favourite perching spot for bald eagles. From here you can see the lagoon and tidal flats where shorebirds, waterfowl and sandhill cranes gather. You can also watch the tides ebb and flow, the fishing fleet heading out to sea, and observe magnificent views of the surrounding mountains and glaciers.

Lori and Mark are sure to give you a warm and friendly welcome to their home, which offers seven rooms in the main house and two separate units in the grounds. A hallmark of a stay here is their hearty breakfasts that include locally baked bread, homemade jams, fresh Homer roasted coffee along with cereals, yoghurt, fresh fruit and a hot entrée.
