Whilst not technically in the Iberá wetlands themselves, Puerto Valle is located on the banks of the Paraná River, on the edge of the wetlands, and therefore offers a great location to head out and explore them.

The thirteen spacious and modern rooms all have access to a balcony with stunning views over the extensive grounds down to the river. The hotel also boasts its own lagoon where you can spot caiman and capybara, an outdoor pool, wine cellar, and a fantastic restaurant serving both traditional and more unusual local delicacies.

This place is perfect for those wanting to explore the Iberá wetlands and its wildlife in comfort. Its location, only 55 kilometres from Posadas airport means guests have access to this stunning part of Argentina without the need to travel for hours to reach some of the more remote lodges.

The food here is excellent. Be adventurous and try the delicious local delicacy, pacu river fish.
