Located in the heart of the Turneffe Atoll on a 14 acre island, 35 miles off the coast of Belize, the Turneffe Island Resort has just 20 rooms. It is a wonderful place to get away from the hectic bustle of everyday life, there are no televisions or radios in your room — the objective here is relaxation.

It offers excellent diving, snorkelling or fishing and the lodge operates packages revolving around such activities. With just 12 standard rooms and eight private cabanas, the island never feels overrun with people.

Meals are served communally, with everyone sitting together to share food and reminisce on the day's activities. The rooms are pleasantly decorated with wooden floors and each one has a balcony with indoor and outdoor showers.

The resort also has a swimming pool, beautiful white sand beach and a small spa for massages after your day's activities.
