Itinerary idea in detail

Includes international flights from a choice of UK airports, including London, Birmingham, Manchester, Newcastle, Edinburgh and Glasgow.

  • Today you begin your journey by boarding your international outbound flight to Maun.

  • On arrival in Maun, you will be met and assisted with your bags across the tarmac to your light aircraft. You will then fly south to the Central Kalahari, where your guide will meet you and drive you to your lodge.

  • Today, you will enjoy a guided morning safari from camp. In the green season, the Central Kalahari Game Reserve sees animals such as springbok, gemsbok and wildebeest in their thousands. This is also a great time to spot the predators, including the black-maned Kalahari lion.

  • A day of wildlife viewing from Tau Pan Camp. At this time, you experience the true wilderness of the Central Kalahari, with other visitors few and far between.

  • Today, you will leave the Kalahari and take a light aircraft flight to the Kwara Concession. You have three nights at Splash Camp. This area has great game densities throughout the year, and the surrounding landscapes will offer a nice contrast to the Central Kalahari.

  • Today, you will have the option of taking both a morning and afternoon activity. Normally, the activities start at around 6am. You will then return mid-morning for lunch and siesta before going out again in the afternoon.

  • This is an outstanding game area on the edge of the Okavango Delta, and this is very much a mixed camp and has a range of both dry and wet activities.

  • Today you will fly northwards to Lebala in the Linyanti Wetlands in the northern part of the country, bordering Namibia's Zambezi Region (Caprivi Strip).

  • As you are staying in a private concession you will have the opportunity to go out on night drives. This is an excellent experience and increases your chances of seeing normally nocturnal species like leopards, genet cats and even porcupines.

  • This area is renowned for its high concentrations of wildlife. Wild dogs are frequently found in this region of Botswana.

  • This morning you will transfer to the local airstrip for your light aircraft flight to Maun.

  • Arrive home today to complete your journey.
