International outbound flight
Today you begin your journey by boarding your international outbound flight to Maun.

On arrival in Maun you will be met and assisted with your bags across the tarmac to your light aircraft which will fly you across the Delta to the private Vumbura Concession. On arrival you should have time to settle in and relax before setting off on an afternoon excursion. Return back from your activity to a lovely dinner on the open air patio.

Enjoying your time on safari at Vumbura Plains on game drives, guided walks, mokoro trips and boat safaris, accompanied by expert guides. You will go for a morning and afternoon activity. Feel free to ask your guides questions are they are experts on the environment!

A third day on safari at Vumbura Plains. This morning and afternoon you can go for either a mokoro boat cruise, a motor boat safari or a game drive. During your down time, take a dip in your amazing private lunge pool and lounge on your private deck.

Vumbura Concession , Chief's Island
Today you will take a light aircraft flight to Chief's Island in the Moremi Game Reserve, where you'll stay at the world-famous Mombo Camp. You'll have time to settle in to your tent before heading out for your first afternoon game viewing activity.

On safari at Mombo Camp you'll enjoy game drives in the mornings and afternoons when the wildlife is most active. Chief's Island has a wealth of resident wildlife including healthy populations of big cats and wild dogs.

Chief's Island , Linyanti Wetlands
Leaving the delta you will fly north to the incredible Kings Pool Camp, overlooking the Linyanti River. Elephants are often seen here in good numbers coming to the shore to drink. Arrive in time to settle in and enjoy high tea before heading out for your first game viewing excursion in the Linyanti Wetlands.

On safari at Kings Pool, you'll enjoy game drives, guided walks and seasonal boat safaris. There are also two hides where you can sit and watch the wildlife, one of which is lowered into the ground so you can see the animals from ground level!

Enjoying your time on safari at Kings Pool. Birding is outstanding here, particularly for birds of prey like Dickinson's kestrel and waterbirds. In the summer southern carmine bee-eaters nest near camp.
