The Lodge at Uxmal

The Lodge at Uxmal is right opposite the entrance to the archaeological site. It's the sister hotel of the Mayaland at Chichén Itzá and Hacienda Uxmal.

The hotel is comfortable and in an excellent location. Its 40 rooms are spread out among five, two-story villas built with materials native to the region. They are all fully equipped with air conditioning, ceiling fan, minibar and satellite TV. The Jacuzzi bungalows have king-size beds.

The hotel has a decent swimming pool adjacent to a large palapa where the restaurant and bar are located. Meals are à la carte but there is sometimes a buffet also, when groups are staying at the hotel. There is often live music in the evening, a guitar trio plays Yucatecan melodies and sometimes a local dance troupe too.
