Hotel Hacienda VIP is a small, six bedroom boutique B&B located in the heart of Mérida, next door to its sister property Hotel Hacienda Mérida.
The hacienda itself is an 1820 converted historical home beautifully preserved with spacious relaxing areas, a small pool and bar. The hotel offers guests a wonderful balance of colonial charm, contemporary influences and personalised service levels, which when combined with the comfort of the rooms makes for the perfect base from which to explore the Yucatán Peninsula.
Each room varies in size and decor — each with its own quirk — as you might expect from such an old property. Some of the rooms are a little dark and lack natural light, however, all have wonderfully comfortable king beds, cable TV, air conditioning, en suite and iPod dock. Breakfast is served here but there is currently no restaurant, however, you are within 10-15 minutes' walk to a wide range of options that the hotel can recommend.
