Built in 2002 and regularly refurbished, the Santa Cruz II is a uniquely large-sized boat for the Galapagos, with a capacity of 90 passengers across 50 cabins. The ship's five decks hold a variety of extra amenities and services, including a fitness room, indoor and outdoor dining options, a discovery and learning center, reception and boutique and 24 hour infirmary. In addition, guests can relax in one of several lounge and bar areas or open-air sun deck perfect for spotting wildlife. The ship offers a number of itinerary options, all especially designed to evenly combine highlights with a variety of islands, animals and excursions.

Cabins

All 50 of the Santa Cruz II's cabins offer full sized windows, private bathrooms, air-conditioning and either two single beds or one matrimonial bed. In addition, many cabins are connecting, perfect for families with children.

Voyager Cabins (x2)

Located on the Horizon Deck, the Voyager cabins consist of 11.8 m² (127 ft) of living space. These cabins are designed specifically for single passengers with one single bed.

Explorer Cabins (x43)

The 43 Explorer Cabins are split between the Horizon, Expedition and Panorama Decks and feature 15.2 m² (163 ft²) of space with large picture windows.

Explorer Family Cabins (x2)

The two Explorer Family Cabins are located on the Horizon Deck and have a spacious 17.8 m² (192 ft²) interior with an additional sofa-couch.

Darwin Suites (x3)

Three Darwin Suites are found on the Panorama Deck and are composed of 30 m² (323 ft²). Along with additional space, these suites have an attached living area with a couch and seating area.

  • Dinner is buffet style served in the indoor dining room.
  • Tea and coffee are available at the bar all day.
